Foreshadowing the rise of NOTY, Time magazine in a 1941 article saw fit to footnote a mention of one Brig. Gen. Harry Lewis Twaddle with other interestingly named military officers, including Andrew Hero 3rd, Strong Boozer, Rollo Ditto, Jud Yoho, Donald Wackwitz and the nominee.
